People would pay tribute to GUI developpers (most of the time volunteers); therefore I think that making-up Ubuntu to look like Mac Osx or any other OS is kind of insult, though it may sound fun ( I personnally like Mac)

If you had read to the third sentence at the top:

“Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 uses Gnome as it’s desktop environment”

The title of the page has Ubuntu and not Kubuntu. Standard Ubuntu is GNOME - has been since Warty.

this looks NOTHING like mac os x. It’s a lot easier turning KDE into mac os but you also need beryl and you’ll have to deal with all the problems that come from that. But with a little bit of work it works very well and brought a smile on my face. Beryl to me is like candy to a little kid…

I would like a skin for Mac OS X look like Ubuntu rather than Ubuntu looking like Mac OS X. And, of course, with multiple desktops !
