Webmetrics, Google PageRank, Alexa ranking toolbar and composite indicators are some of the valuable tools to help you gauge your web pages. This is pretty helpful when you are doing search engine optimization Google and trying to figure out which site is worthy of your back links.
However, aside from those mentioned there are other tools that you can rely on and one of them is the SEOmoz Page Strength Indicator, a new way of measuring the importance of a site.

- Listings in DMOZ (ODP)
- Links found in Wikipedia
