Nokia Siemens Networks
Nokia, the Finnish telecom equipment giant, and Germany’s Siemens announced that they intend to merge the Networks Business Group of Nokia and the carrier-related operations of Siemens into a new company, to be called Nokia Siemens Networks.
The 50-50 joint venture will create a global leader with strong positions in important growth segments of fixed and mobile network infrastructure and services.
The combined company is positioned to lead the development and implementation of revenue-generating and cost-saving products and services via its scale and global reach.
So, is it important to me?
Yes. I joined with Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) this month (April 2007). Therefore this is my first month I work with them, as Operation And Maintenance Intelligent Network Engineer (OAM IN Engineer) for Telkomsel Project. It is a new opportunity for me to work with NSN.
I work in Jakarta for a while (about 3 months) but I will work on Semarang as my home base, 3 hours from my home town (Klaten). Huraay…
I can not wait to go to Semarang. LOL
I learn a lot of new things about telecommunication. Learn…learn…and learn again…
